Playing the Airwolf theme in his honor.  (Though not too much honor. I understand he was not exactly a good dude in the days after airwolf. Sounds like he was a dangerous addict whose life fell apart.)

Meet DeepSqueak, an algorithm built to decode ultrasonic rat squeaks - The Verge

This is so cool.  I had a couple rats I dearly loved and I wish I could have heard their chatter.  Being able to tell when you're stressing your rats and avoid it as much as possible will be great for experimenters.

New York governor orders probe into Facebook access to data from other apps | Reuters

Yeah, Facebook offers the equivalent of Google Analytics, but for apps. You include Facebook's SDK and it helps track and measure the interactions people have with your app, including installs, uninstalls, usage patterns, etc.  Developers love it of course, and hey, it's free!  That is, all it costs you is the privacy of all of your users.  Just like Google Analytics.
